My expectations for TY are very high as I have heard great things from previous years. I am looking forward to all of the trips I get to go on and all of the work I get to do outside of school. After hearing all about fourth year I am expecting that it is going to be my favourite year of secondary school. All of the teachers and Mr Geraghty have explained to us that transition is not about striving academically but is about taking part in as many activities as possible and experiencing new things. Because TY is an important year for new experiences I have decided to take part in lots of different activities e.g Gaisce, Boxing, Scuba diving and First Aid. During TY we are required to complete two weeks work experience but we are allowed to do additional work experience which I am also looking forward to. I have organised a weeks work in McGuirks golf in Leopardstown and a weeks community service from the fourth to the eighth of December and I am looking forward to them very much. We also have the carlingford trip which I am looking forward to most because I have heard great things about it. We also have the play which I have mixed opinions about because I don't like doing things in front of a group of people but I think the whole process of preparing it will be fun.
